Everything is possible with hard work and commitment. The small organising committee of Career Fair Dinner started its journey already in spring and today finally all the guests from Öresund area, Stockholm and even as far as Italy arrived for a cozy networking event bringing together current and future public health professionals. Usually the only way for students to interact with these professionals is through formal networks, such as telephone calls, university databases, emails or knowing someone who knows someone. This was the first opportunity for the students in our program to get to have a chance to find interesting work opportunities, internships and research collaboration for their Thesis. The guests got to have a chance to find volunteers, interns and collaboration possibilities as well as engage with a truly international and very passionate group of students with backgrounds in health, law, policy, science and more. It was a huge effort by everyone who study and work in our program because everything from 3-course-meal to decorations was done by us, but the event was more than a success promising for strengthened networks in our surroundings.
